PAHCOM

As the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and the Clinic Director, I work closely with Joan Newell-Walker. Her involvement with PAHCOM has been invaluable to our practice. Her attendence at the conference has provided her opportunity to grow in her profession and lead our team with grit and integrity. The knowledge she gains each year is essential to the function of the practice. Her ability to motivate the team is fostered by speakers at your conference. Additionally her attendance provides the opportunity to bring back best practices, legislative updates and network with others in her profession. I completely support her involvement in this important organization and value the information she brings back to our team.

Denise M. Schentrup, DNP, ARNP-BC, Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, Clinic Director Archer Family Health Care- Rural Health Clinic, A Service of UF College of Nursing

Our manager’s involvement with PAHCOM gave her the tools to get our office certified with NCQA certification (Level 3) on the first attempt. PAHCOM helps keeps her current with healthcare regulations and constant changes which ultimately trickle down to our patients, and allows processes to be in place in closing care gaps for our patients.

Lisa Affatato, M.D.

The many things which our manager has learned through her involvement with PAHCOM keeps her organized in practice management and especially with workflow in the practice. It has given her personal self confidence in order to do her job and to know that the issues that she deals with on a daily basis are the very same which other healthcare managers face as well.

James T. Reinprecht, M.D.

Our manager is the crucial backbone of our practice. Her ongoing involvement with PAHCOM keeps her the most up to date with the challenging changes in healthcare. This allows the physicians to keep up in the medical end of patient care and not have to worry about management or administrative issues.

Robert A. Feldman, M.D.

Our practice manager has attended yearly PAHCOM conferences and has  remained quite active in the organization. We have been delighted to have her involvement in such a capacity. This has helped her stay up to date and on the cutting-edge of regulations and strategies to keep our practice competitive. There's no doubt in my mind that were it not for her involvement in PAHCOM we would struggle much more in keeping up to date.

Steven D. Buser, M.D., innerQuest Psychiatry and Counseling, Asheville, NC

The PAHCOM conference adds value to our practice. The interaction of administrators from across the nation has helped to keep our practice at the cutting edge. The presentations and group sessions are a great way to keep pace with national trends and leads to innovative ways of dealing with the changes ahead.

As an OB/GYN who has practiced medicine for over 30 years, I have seen a drastic change in medicine. My executive administrator, Sarah Holmes, has been with me for 30 years. She became involved in PAHCOM and was certified in 1999. Since that time, she has missed only one annual conference. I can truly attest that having Sarah attend annual conference has tremendously enhanced her skill set. It allows her to be on the cutting edge of all legal and administrative changes in healthcare.

Tyrone C. Malloy, MD, JD; Metropolitan Atlanta OB/GYN

Our Practice Administrator returns each year from The Annual PAHCOM Conference with many great ideas with which to lead the office in an efficient and practical way!

Dr. Steven L. Billigmeter, MD; Pediatric Associates of Stockton

Our practice has always been very supportive of PAHCOM. We have received our investment back many times over.

Gary R. Ensz, MD

PAHCOM is money in the bank. Whether it's for the business of medicine or not, I always try to put money into the people I depend on and work with.

Glenn R. Womack, MD

PAHCOM has proven to be an unlimited resource for our office, as advantageous information is shared during their meetings. The networking gives our office manager almost instant access to the solutions and ideas that keep our office running in a profitable, successful manner. In short, I would not practice medicine where the office manager does not belong to PAHCOM.

Jeffrey G. Meade, MD

Our practice has benefited significantly from the new ideas our practice administrator brings back from PAHCOM, particularly in contracting and human resources. Having our practice administrator be a member of PAHCOM is a 'slam-dunk' and should be a 'no-brainer' for any physician practice.
